My cabinets are phll The disposal is an Insinkerator Evolution Compact. The standard would have fit but wouldn't have under drawer pull out zone much room in the drawer under it. Carolyn, I could be wrong, but if each bowl has a drain that is offset and depending on how they are offset in the middle, in the back, corners you should be able to fit at least one full length pull-out, or maybe 2 shallow like the wooden one above.

It will depend on how much space you have and will likely take some cooperation from your installer about how he orients the drain pipes. Deep sinks and trash underneath. Zoe tiny kitchen layout decision.

Scout, yes it's these small things that really make the kitchen! I also have under sink pullouts, thanks to GW and urge others drqwer take advantage of this space rather than waste a cabinet.

It's silly but I know you'll all understand but I'm always showing off my garbage pull-out to guests. You reminded me that I forgot to undwr that my garbage disposal is also the compact one, same as you. That does make a difference. It is in a standard 36" wide base cabinet. I was initially worried that it was "only" I should also mention that we were on a really tight budget for this remodel so I was looking for an affordable sink as well.

Yowza, sorry about that. Goodness, I have typed and retyped this info so many times. It seems the post will not work if I include photos. At least on my iPad. I am very happy uneer the 36 though. Very happy indeed. Anyhow, I wanted to say that the under drawer pull out zone set up with trash underneath only worked because we went with frameless canbinets. With traditional cabinets, it would not have worked.

Needless to say this is what we are stuck with. Thank you! I am reattaching a slightly edited floor plan that combines some old and new. I added the current counter edge and current door and doorway measurements, and the space between the wall and the window. That trim under drawer pull out zone going to go but I added the measurement for it. And yes, the chimney is staying put! There is a slight possibility of moving the fridge to the left a few inches but that is not ideal given the doorway and counters.

This layout is scale. We do cook, but not on any grand scale. I bake so the extra counter space elsewhere was key. We have young messy kids so durability is key, as is ease of them making their way around the kitchen. Fridge - counter - stove - counter - sink? Is the actual order an issue or just the space between? Maybe I'm just used to this house and my neighbor's houses which are all the same so it doesn't strike me as terrible at first!

But I do know more prep space right next to stove would be better. What would you move? Shift the window itself over? Put the stove somewhere else? There is a patio roof just outside the door oout I don't think we'd be able to put the range on the under drawer pull out zone wall and still be able to vent it properly.

We could shift the stove to the left a bit and just keep a narrow pullout there and gain some inches to the right? I've thought of moving the fridge but again, not sure where it would go that wouldn't make it a looming mass in the sightline from the dining room.

Thank you for the positive info re: the pantry though. That's one less thing to worry about as that location makes the most sense otherwise. That inspiration photo is drawrr. The main thing that jumps out to me is that I would want the trash flipped to the other side of the stove if at all possible. I seem to use my trash most often in conjunction with the sink.

We also have a small kitchen, though it is larger than yours. It is our main prep space and like you, we cook at home every day. It has been totally adequate for under drawer pull out zone for the bulk of pul cooking. Over Thanksgiving and Christmas, my husband did do baking prep on outt small counter space across the kitchen, but all every day meals originate from this one spot.

The pull out trash is right underneath the prep space with a pull out drawer above it that houses our knives. How deep are your counters going to be? I was SO worried about how our kitchen would turn out, because everyone else seems to have endless space with few restrictions, but in under drawer pull out zone end literally the only thing that I want to improve upon is how the spices are housed.
