We were there for lunch and felt that locals outnumbered us tourists. That's usually a telling sign of a good restaurant with reasonable prices. Carpenter Street is certainly basic and in no-way fancy. In fact, the bathroom wash sink is located in the hallway outside Quirky but fun. I had a blue cheese burger and their pub menu was strong. I was delighted with my burger as it was very juicy and tasty and the bun was perfect. I didn't have a beer this day but they had a number of good options on tap.

I would make this a go-to place if I returned to St. The staff were all so nice and the drinks were potent. My friends and I had a blast. The food we had was very good.

What more do you need. Marianne made the best margarita for my husband and a spectacular Bloody Mary for me. We ordered dinner in which I had the Tipsy Chicken and my husband had the Talbot burger. My chicken was so incredibly moist and tender The mushrooms, sauce and mashed potatoes were equally as excellent.
