His riding lawnmower with two push mowers attached made an impressive wide cut of grass. Chuck liked to garden and in his later years loved bicycling. He miraculously found an International tractor his father had sold years ago.
He restored the tractor and displayed it in Penn Yan parades and festivals. Chuck was a Christian and a dedicated prayer warrior. Chuck and his prayer partner Rawley Hayner spent many Tuesdays praying for the needs of their family, church and community. Chuck prayed for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all by name daily. He prayed for their safety and their salvation.
