This is so sharp, never force it into doing anything and it will do wonders. This is a very fine little saw, and the first Japanese saw I have owned. The cut is extremely precise and clean, with no saw marks at all on the cut face of the dozuki saw amazon in most cuts.

The cut is less than a millimetre wide too, so it creates a lot less sawdust than most saws and less wood turned into sawdust means more to make things out of.
