Would've been nice to have a paper template for that 'front' direction not just the 'top' direction. Once installed though, I've been happy with it; I wish the hole for the dog was a little larger so it was easier to substitute, say, a 1" x 3/4" x 6" piece of hardwood for the steel dog to get more height and less marking.  I've read other reviews where people had trouble with the quick-release not working consistently, but I've never had a problem with mine. Some people may need a larger vise, but the small size works well in my small shop. There are two things that could be improved to go from 4 to 5 stars, though.
