I was initially going to rate this three stars instead of four, but I went ahead and did the math about how much tolerance that added to the repeatability of cuts and found that it is so small it's pretty much not worth thinking about. As it was, I drove a tiny nail in the nylon washer near the outside diameter so that the nail would make a portion of the washer expand to fill my miter slot. If you rotated the split outward of the miter bar so that it can expand more easily, this might work. There are some limitations on using it with a smaller saw like not being able to pull it back quite so far since you really need all three expander grommets to make contact in the track to have zero movement, but so far it's not an issue for what I do.
