You have super plans! I used untreated pine which I will weather proof after staining. I used scrap wood for the back because I only had 6 8ft and it needed 7 pieces of 8 foot. I built this with a couple of modifications. I alternated 2x4 and 2x6" lumber for the seat and backrest, and designed some simple arm rests for it. I also used carriage bolts and titebond glue in place of screws in most areas.
