I just wanted you to know that this thing is a pleasure to use with some DMT diamond plates. I use 3 different DMT plates, coarse, fine, and superfine. I cleaned it up on the bench grinder and worked through the three plates. I was very easy to match the main grind angle and then put a very clean micro angle on the edge with the superfine plate.

I found just one full revolution on the adjustment set it up perfect for the micro bevel. I love this tool! I use to dread working my planes or chisels, but not any more.

I there is anything I might suggest you add, it would be some scribed lines on the bed plate to reference for squaring up the chisel or plane. I think I am also going to glue a thin square of leather on the upper end of the bed to protect chisel handles and to help seat plane blades against. I will let you know how that works.
