I have been working with people from art, design and creative practice backgrounds for over 15 years. I was a member of the National Broadband Steering Group for the last five years, on the Mobile Broadband Taskforce, and a member of the Digital Strategies subgroup whose aim was to develop common guidelines for local digital strategies to maximise digitally-enabled economic and social progress. We received a Harvard TECH Smart Cities Accelerator award for this initiative because of the highly collaborative way academia, the city and industry work together.

I have always taken a strong role in promoting women in Engineering and Computer Science. I have participated in Inspire Fest on many occasions. It currently attracts over 50, people to its yearly festival.

I was Co-Curator of the Lifelogging Exhibition. Lifelogging looked at the quantified-self and the practices on digitally tracking through all sorts of technologies everything to do with the human condition and the self. The exhibition ran from 13th of Feb to the 17 th of April and recorded over 20, visitors. I was Co-Curator of Hack the City.

The exhibition ran from the 22 nd of June to the 8 th of September and had over 15, visitors. The Art wogkshop Decision was a multidisciplinary project focusing on women in political decision-making. I approached Dr. I subsequently got significant funding for the project.
