I have used 3 different belts including a leather belt, belts change the vibration level. Probably needs more break in time. Plenty of power for about any use. The side cover on the 1x30 belt is nice but useless if you are using different belts a lot, changing belts is simple task without the side cover, just depress the tension roller and remove and install different rikon disc sander 01, done.
