Well they are an awesome addition to my. incra fences, infact I no longer use feather boards to push the stock into the fence as the offset rollers pull the stock into the fence with a nice bit of force. I had to run a 12' board through my shaper, and I always set up extension tables for this type of work as support.  They do a fantastic job of keeping the material down on the table, and preventing it from kicking back. I don't know about how well it keeps things against the fence because I use it with feather boards, but it does a great job of staying down.  These guides are very nice and work excellently. The guide wheels only turn one way, so avoid kick-back and they are angled to force the workpiece against the fence and put pressure to hold the workpiece down to the table.
