I didn't need to make any drawers with recessed drawer pulls, but I wanted to experiment with how well my router pantograph would work for that sort of technique. What prompted me to try this experiment was an episode of New Yankee Workshop (# - Nest of Drawers), in which Norm Abrahams used several router templates and a guide bushing to carve out some recessed drawer knobs.  I put this under the router bit. I then set my pantograph to be exactly horizontal, and then positioned the bit in the chuck such that the bit was just resting on the piece of wood. I had to repeatedly set the pantograph to exactly horizontal for several of the steps, so I made a small block of wood to clamp to the guide-pin. A drawer pull (wire pull or simply pull) is a handle to pull a drawer out of a chest of drawers, cabinet or other furniture piece. A drawer pull often includes a plate to which the handle is fastened. The handle may swing from one or two mounts ("drop handle" or "swing handle"), making a drop drawer pull. A bail handle is a kind of swing handle consisting of an open loop attached to two mounts. The handle may also be fastened to the plate with rivets, making it immovable. The plate may be ornamented. In this video we make really simple and cheap DIY drawer pulls that look great! These can be made for about $1 each using inexpensive steel square tubing.
