I’m interested in learning woodworking and have only had high school wood shop and that was twenty years ago. I’ve looked online and searched the various community college catalogs but I can’t find any instruction offered in woodworking in Los Angeles. I’m going to keep looking but wanted to ask if anyone knew of any instructors in the Los Angeles area. I’ve checked Trade Tech, Santa Monica College, Valley College and LACC. I work full-time and can’t give up my job but would love to start learning. Community Woodshop offers classes to those looking to improve there woodworking skills and club memberships to those who can work safely and independently.  Community Woodshop is a shared woodshop offering Memberships and Classes - like a fitness club. As a member we expect you to be able to work safetly and independently. If you're not quite there yet, we suggest taking a few classes first (membership not required). We offer a wide variety of workshops covering many techniques, interests, and skill levels. Classes/workshops give you the opportunity to practice in a safe environment where everyone is welcome.
