One of the courses I teach is called Computer Integrated Manufacturing.

I teach a 15 week unit on CNC, The student learn G and M codingwrite programs using the codes they generate, and then learn how to use a post processing program called edgecam to generate machine codes from drawings they do on a solid modeling program called autodesk Inventor.

Then we use a cnc mill to make the parts they design. We have lost a lot in schools these days; it pains me to see the school shops closing left and right.
