The best advice is like said,make some cast iron plugs and thread them in. I'd countersink each hole,and make the plugs with countersinks to match. These plugs will never be invisible most likely,though. They won't be exactly the same cast iron as the table,and will be a different"color".

The edges of the plugs will get squeezed as you peen them out to fit tight don't peen cast iron MUCH! I'd advise to not peen,just make the angles of your plugs such that they fit tighter at the top. Wrench them in snugly. Rings may still show minimally,and color difference will,too. If you could get some "continuous cast" dura bar cast iron,it would be a decent grade of C.

It might come in different grades. I haven't used it. Maybe someone will chime in. If you think it is bad now, then just weld it and try surfacing it with your machine.
