I enjoy hand grinding as part of the process of brewing myself an espresso most every day. Previously I had a cheapish grinder. It was decent enough, but setting differences were far to coarse. I've only used a couple of grinders besides this one, and stepping up in price like this you would hope it is very well made indeed, and I'm happy to report that it has not disappointed. Only issue I've found, and I'm not sure if I've imagined it, but it seems to grind slightly coarser if I am winding fast compared to a slow steady grind perhaps the inner burr is pushing up?!
