I normally wear out the stock blades before I buy anything. My SawStop came with a SawStop titanium blade. When I purchase a blade I always look for an Irwin Marples blade though. Good cut quality and good value for the money. I just put a Marples blade on my miter saw a couple weeks ago.

Nice review Jay! I have had one of the contractor versions for about four years. It has performed superbly for me. I did trip the system once when it grazed an aluminum T-track that my hand was touching Sawstop 10 Contractor Saw Game on the other end. When it fired there was a loud bang and then dead silence. It took me a few seconds to realize the blade was gone. Your review was honest and well done.

Jay, nice work as always. Question for you: Are you worried that you will accidentally trip the safety feature while cutting a piece of wood that has a staple in it, or some accidental trip? I know your shop is a two car garage, but what are the actually dimensions? It looks gigantic in this video. The tall ceiling and wide angle lens I typically use makes it look like there is a lot of space.

The Floating Dust Guard TSG-FDC provides above-the-table dust collection while allowing you to use simply the riving knife or even no blade guard, such as when you are cutting dadoes. It also allows you to position the guard much closer to the blade so you can make thinner rip cuts while still using the blade guard.

Also, for the exact same reason, if attaching the TSG-FDC to a saw with a cast-iron router table attached, the router table will need to be attached to the left rather than the right.

It works fine with the Industrial Mobile Base. This is an extremely popular addition to your SawStop. The Inline Router Table consists of a cast-iron router table that attaches to either the left cast-iron wing or in place of the wooden extension table at the far right.
