I just finished up the router table for my Ridgid R It fits in the right side of the saw and is about " by 27". I know how step by step is the   The router is a craftsman variable speed 12 amp, 2 hp, with a through table fine height adjuster. I would probably do a few things differently next time. I would put simple holes into the fence base instead of slots. I thought the extra adjustment in front of the router would be nice. But if I'm beyond the router too much, it means I'm not using it and the fence could just come off. And the bolts end up moving in the slots and the t-track at the same time, which is a bit annoying. I would just use slots with machine screws and wingnuts in the table top for the fence base instead of e. I also have a Ridgid table saw. Personally, I think it's the best saw you can get under $, but is comparable to other saws at $$ Ross. The router comes up just high enough to make above-the-table bit changes possible. Although, I suppose it would be as convenient to just pull the router motor out of the mount to make bit changes. The router also came with this 1/2" steel shaft, and a plastic cone.  Another plastic cover on the other side closes off most of the base, which catches most of the dust for routing operations with that base. However, the screw head for attaching the vacuum adapter gets in the way of the T-handle for above-table depth adjustments. If you leave the screw out and attach it with sticky tape instead, the depth adjustment is still accessible. Installing The Router Table Insert Table Saw Router Table — Part 2.
