It feels like grabbing a Pringles can. Add a battery and it's definitely nothing you want to use daily. There's no LED lighting. Makita this is yearwhere are the Led's? For me batgery alone is a total deal breaker especially when the video for this product clearly shows LED lighting.

I was hoping this would let me go cordless on the tool I turn to almost every day, my Rockwell Wuth tool, but nope, not yet. If Makita doesn't correct these issues soon I may pass on them for the Fein cordless. However, my biggest complaint about it was the lack of a quick wih change. Problem solved with this newer model. So why is this not a 5 star tool then? Yes, this model has the quick-change feature, which in my opinion, would have made the older model a 5 star product.

But this new quick-change lever design has caused 2 new problems. I often use my tool with the circular-shaped saw blades for cutting out sections of drywall. The quick-change lever hits the drywall before the blade cuts clean through. This was never a problem with the old design. I didn't think this would be a big deal, but it is.

I now find myself reaching for a flashlight, or my older model, when I am cutting in darker areas.
