His core strengths are in staff management and performance building, cross-functional team leadership, business process re-engineering, and strategic planning. With over 20 years of manufacturing experience, Wade has held various quality, regulatory and plant management roles in the medical, automotive and fire protection industries. A majority of his career has been spent working for global medical contract manufacturers.

He demonstrates a proven history of transforming complex quality systems into strict but flexible systems that are quickly adaptable to changing customer needs. He even renovated a cabin from the ground up using wood harvested from his farm. Jim brings to Gilero 18 years of disposable medical device experience, with a strong foundation in device design, manufacturing, process development, validation, and experiment design. Before coming to Gilero, Jim worked in product development, manufacturing, and research and development at Becton Dickinson and CareFusion.

Jay is an entrepreneur, designer, inventor and engineer focused on improving the lives of others through multidisciplinary approaches to technology development.

His curiosity for entrepreneurship led Jay to Boston to work in the product development arena focusing on the introduction of medical and consumer products to market, with a heavy user-centered development approach. Jay brought his curiosity, excitement and passion to Gilero, where he heads the Human Factors and Design group.

Before joining the team at Gilero, Maria worked as an accountant for Visara International, a company that provides mainframe and mid-range system products, network integration, and other advanced service offerings, for almost 17 years. Billy is an entrepreneur and experienced mechanical engineer. He started his career in academia and his research in microfluidics and cellular mechanobiology is highly cited in the academic community.

He co-founded a startup company, Flomera, which later became CellFE, based on his research and patented invention in blood cell separation for early leukemia and ovarian cancer detection. Billy successfully transitioned from academics to industry by joining the Advanced Diagnostic Group at Becton Dickinson. Here, he co-invented an ultra-fast blood plasma separation technology that serves as a universal sample preparation platform for point-of-care applications.

As a technical lead, Billy offers technical leadership and expertise in a full range of product and process development, manufacturing and technology transfer activities, with a focus on single-use medical devices. In addition to science and engineering, Billy has a strong interest in finance and small business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst level 2 candidate and owner of several small businesses in the retail and entertainment industries. Amanda serves as a Senior Product Development Engineer and a technical resource for a variety of project teams at Gilero.

Amanda began her career at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics. A skilled and goal-oriented mechanical engineer, Steve joined the Gilero team in In his current role as Principal Design Engineer, Steve is responsible for the design and development of innovative new products, primarily Class I and Class II single-use medical devices.

Steve is involved in most stages of product design and routinely helps take devices from concept to commercialization here at Gilero. He is especially skilled in prototyping, often designing, fabricating, and testing early-stage prototypes. Notably, Steve has been listed as an inventor on 25 issued patents. He holds a B. Kait handles all of the marketing, communications and branding efforts at Gilero while also providing support to the sales, management and executive leadership teams.
