In regard to the 26" wide measurement shown for this keyboard: Although the Kensington keyboard tray is indeed 26" ddesk, you need a space of more like 30" wide because of the "L" brackets and the way the instructions have you install them "outward" However, the "L" brackets can be VERY easily flipped around facing inward if you're limited on space under your desk and the strength of the drawer set-up isn't compromised at all, especially because I simply added an extra wood screw in the vacant hole in under desk keyboard drawer 5g of the four "L" brackets there are 3 holes but you're only given 2 screws for each bracket to attach to the underside of the desktop.
