This unit fit the slots on my Delta Type 10 saw perfectly, and did a great job of what it was supposed to do, hold the stock firmly against the fence and keep my hands safe.

Is it adaptable? Or should I return it? Update- I returned it with no problem. It's a fine design, but it didn't fit my Dewalt DWE compact table saw. The locking mechanism worked fine in the miter slots, but there isn't enough clearance in front of the blade to position the featherboard so that it's fully ahead of the blade.

I'm under the impression that installing a featherboard next to the blade can be dangerous, as it would be pushing the workpiece against the blade which can cause the piece to bind and kick back. Definitely not a problem with the product, just wasn't right for my setup unfortunately. Works well with Bosch Table Saw. Feather is flexible and easy to work with.

No complaints. I mostly bought this when resawing on my bandsaw. It really helps to hold the piece tight to the fence for an even cut. It also helps to keep hands away from the blade. The fingers on it are perfect for applying the right pressure.

Simple to adjust which means it will be used more frequently. I will also use it occasionally on my table saw as well. It does fit the sawstop just fine. Works great. Fits perfectly on my Kreg router table and Ridgid tablesaw.

I have used mine extensively and am pleased with the performance. I have read reviews about breakage and durability; keep in mind these are made of plastic and if misused they will break. If your tool does not have a standard size miter slot, these will not fit. After having a piece of wood kick back on my old table saw and nearly loosing two fingers in the process I came across this product.

I am not a woodworker as much as just maintaining my home. This product helps to keep the wood where it belongs, on the table saw. This, combined with a good push stick is the way to go. I guess if everything was "as expected, no better and no worse" we wouldn't need reviews, so this must be a good thing! Easy to adjust. A bit of a pain to flip over if I need to use the right miter track.

The feather board comes with fittings to allow it to fit into the mitre slot in the table of the machine.

I had a featherboard that had been my dads. The same one is still available on Amazon, but with my experience with it and the reviews on the Kreg featherboard I chose to purchase the Kreg unit. I was a little concerned when I read in one review that it did not fit a Craftsman saw, but I took a chance and I am glad I did. The other unit I have is flimsy in comparison. This Kreg unit is more solidly built. The screws are heavier, so stronger and the pieces that fit in the guide track are much stronger and better built and you can see in the attached photo.

When I tighten down the Kreg featherboard it does not move. I am very pleased with my purchase. This is the second thing that I have purchased over the past year built by Kreg, the other is the Kreg Jig R3 which has worked great so far.

Amazing construction, typical of what your expect from Kreg. It costs a bit more, but you get what you pay for! I'm very happy that I spent the extra money to buy the best featherboard! I never realized how useful this tool would be until I recently started fabricating a large cabinet storage system. It provided constant and even pressure against the long pieces of plywood so that it travelled straight along the fence.
