I used this rasp on a modification to some furniture I had made, they worked great and really took away what I needed to remove very quickly. This rasp is excellent. I particularly like the handle. It's large and fits my hand well. The teeth cut well, and you can remove a large amount of wood quickly with the coarse rasp.

I dont know how it compares to more expensive rasps, but i find these to great rasps at a good price. The cut is waaay too rough and they don't seem to be sharp enough to not get hung up. I can't really use this and have put it aside. One person found this helpful. This is a well made rasp, better than a lot of the cheapo stuff from China. It comes with a well-fitted handle that would add at least bucks more to one that did not come with it.

Whole thing comes in a handy protective plastic pouch. This tool should see years if not generations of use. What a great buy for a heavy rasp. Removes material extremely well but relatively smooth cut. It's a good rasp, it takes off wood fairly quickly, and for what it is I'd say it's a good buy for the money.
