The provided miter gauge has no issue because the plastic part is riding against the table top preventing the aluminum part from riding the bottom of the track.

If you put something else, you will likely hit the screws. The included router has only one speed so that's a bit of an issue, especially with large bit like a panel raising but set. The bigger the bit, the slower the speed should be. Also, the LED lights are of no real use mounted under a router table. Ideally, if they could be turned off, it might be useful. In a well lit shop, they will be of little or no use.

The instruction manual could use a little bit of work - or maybe I misunderstood what it was telling me. From what I recall, there's no mention of which holes to use to attach it to the top. If you are not careful, you could end up with a micro height adjustment that will not align with the top hole forcing you through the process a second time.

Speaking of the through hole for the fine height adjustment, it would be nice to have the hex key needed in the box. Turns out that I have no tool that can reach through the hole far enough to reach the adjustment rendering it kind of useless.

I looked for such a tool but all I could find were sets. Only one would have been sufficient, not a whole set It's not very hard to access it directly under the table but why put a hole and then have nothing that reaches that far. Also, if you decide to mount this on a Router Table And Fence 2019 table top of some kind, I would recommend making a home in the middle of your base because otherwise, you won't be able to pull the motor out.

Raising the motor to the highest isn't high enough and lowering it didn't seem to work any better - it eventually fell out. Also, if you do it from the top, you will likely damage the table top because it's only MDF. It will chip along the edge. The locking pin is also hard to reach if you raise it to the highest. Best way I found to change a bit is to take the motor entirely out and then to do what's needed and put the motor back in after. For a panel raising bit, that could be an issues but I haven't tried - I don't have such a Incra Router Table Fence bit available right now.

All in all, a good purchase if you get it on sale. If you are not in a hurry, put a sales alert notification on it and wait for a sale. It's not the best router table you will see out there but it's a decent enough option for simple things and the average woodworker like me..

Works great even after some months of use. I do wish the table was able to simply stand up off the ground instead of needing to be put on a table but that is my only complaint. We have used it for multiple tasks, each one has turned out great! No complaints at all. I have been using this router for about a month now and I have ro say , I am quite impressed. The router really packs a punch but has a slower startup which will help prevent you from damaging your material, an issue I have had in the last with other routers.

The table Build Your Own Router Table Fence is great, I would recommend setting it in to something larger or building on to it yo allow for a bigger working surface but it is still great for making longer accurate cuts. The only issue I came across with the router is the depth adjustment, while it works perfectly fine, the depth cant be adjusted without first 'unlocking it' the dial still turns which can lead to a less accurate depth at times. All in all though , I think that most people would be more than happy with this router and table , powerful and reliable and accurate.

Good solid machine, packaged well and easy to assemble. Does not come with bits so they need to be purchased separately. When you set it up make sure you mount it to a solid surface. There is a place to hook up a shop vac which was really convenient, made cleaning up that much faster and easier. Nice Router set with easy to assemble table. Router attaches to table with ease for use and can also be removed for free cuts with ease.

Blades also can be switched for different cuts with ease with this router, however be aware that no blades currently come with this set.
