No support for my old, old radial arm saw. I took the top off the arm, removed the old broken switch and replaced it by screwing a standard electrical box to the top of the arm, extending the wires and then using a standard light switch to make/break the circuit. Try replacing your blade. A sharper blade will be more efficient for the motor. If your motor keeps stalling then it might be warning you that the time for replacement is near.

There are really not too many problems that you can have with your radial arm saw motor. You can replace a few of the parts over time, and make sure that you are cutting with a sharp blade, but when the time comes for replacement you may just need to give in. Unless of course you are a skilled rebuilder of all things electrical.
