Personally I wouldn't bother buying a new bit unless I needed to crank out at least a dozen. I have to agree. In the past I have made a tool simply creating a profile by grinding a piece of tool steel on a dry grindstone. I created a cutting edge on the tool by grinding it like a metal lathe tool.

About 2 minutes work no heat treatment as it was a throw away once only tool. It worked well too with elbow power used to create the roundover I wanted. A deburring tool also works just fine on wood - admittedly out of the box it's a chamfer but modding on a grindstone can create a radius. If you really really really must use a router for this operation you could get a dremel router base and a tiny dremel roundover bit.
