CBNs do keep the heat down considerably compared to Aluminum Oxide wheels; Thus high speeds, quicker work, quality grind and undamaged tools from heat. There is a crack in the following, and I imagine that new folks will go towards CBN wheels in the very near future for sharpening needs.
