Very nice that there is a lever for quick release of band tension. This I found puzzling. The tech also told me that tensioning can be done with the release lever disengaged opposite of what is said in the manual; see below.

Another downside to the tensioning process: the knob is obscenely small, but with a good bit of effort you can get the band up to the proper scale mark, but it is not something you would cherish doing every day. Please note that a plastic scale was stuck with adhesive to the back of the block indicating where the level of tension needed to be for different size blades. It is totally inaccurate - peel it off, and low and behold, embossed on the block is the true scale marks.
