I needed to Taper down a 4" flexible Dust Collection (DC) hose down to a 2 1/2" port and this funnel reducer worked perfectly. Prior to me purshasing the funnel reducer I was able to find some 4" - 2 1/2" plumbing connectors to connect my DC system but the plumbing connectors severly degraded the total CFM (power/volume of suction) of my DC/5(20).
