Upon installation it was quickly noticed that the light itself measures Called IKEA to notify them of the design flaw with this light. At first I was being blamed that I did not install them correctly. Once I emailed pictures to them did they really see my side and spin into action.

Took an afternoon trip to the local IKEA store with the offending lights at their request. They confirmed the article numbers are in fact the correct light for that cabinet. They went to check the same light they had installed in one of their displays to find that light same article number measured Several phone calls were made and from what I gathered there may be a bad batch running around with the wrong size lights.

They have no idea how many lights are in this batch or where they are since they all fall under the same article number. Mark Mark Love the way the under cabinet and in drawer lighting enhances the look of the kitchen. These lights are very cool Handy Andy22 I bought these lights for all my lower drawer cabinets and are really cool, everyone comment on how neat that is especially in the evening with low lighting, you can see everything in the cabinet.

The old ones say intertech and have an IKEA logo on the back side and seem to have the ul testing logo. Also the watts seem to be different but otherwise they look identical. The only thing improved with the new model is the wire covers are easier to install vs.

Love it! Pzp Had them installed in my brand new IKEA kitchen and everyone loves the drawers that light up when you pull them open! Sent feedback about this some time ago and was dismissed by someone who didn't read my entire e-mail. I have a complete kitchen from Ikea, with in-cabinet lighting as well as under cabinet lighting. This new in drawer strip is a different wattage.
