Windows 10 "No Networking Hardware Detected" - Microsoft Community

Good afternoon, I am open hardware windows 10 network to this forum and do not know a lot about computers so please keep that in mind.

My problem started today when I changed my wifi password, actually that's when I noticed the problem it could have existed longer. I opened wifi connections selected mine and tried to figure out how to make computer forget network so I could enter in my new password.

So I selected network settings and a window opened and immediately closed then I hafdware to network and sharing tried to open the connect to a network and nothing happened. I am using my cell as hotspot to connect to internet networl I am not having a open hardware windows 10 network connecting I just cannot get into network settings.

I have the same question Hi, Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if that helps. Select Control panel. In the search box, type Troubleshooter and then click Troubleshooting. Under Network and Internet.

I called Microsoft and they helped me remotely and found corrupt files from installation of Windows update.

They fixed it so I have managed to ope into my settings and now can update my wifi password. I tried the second version and when I expand network adapter Ethernet don't come in the list.
