I removed parts and as an single assembly in order to check bore of arm for sawdust or other debris since saw had not been used for about 10 years.

Now I can't get it reassembled properly. Everything goes together easily but the stops, knob and lever no longer work. Arm will not stop at stops. Knob will turn in both directions but will not tighten to lock the arm as it should.

Latch lever moves but does nothing. I think the problem involves how part 17 mates with parts 15 and 16, the arm lock screw and arm lock pin assembly, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong when I reassemble everything. I've tried rapping it with a wooden dowel, penetrating oil and rapping the exterior of the arm where the pin assembly is positioned.
