Makita Model Type 1 (or Type 2) Combination Planer Jointer. The model is broken into components to allow for modification to newer models. This is an old machine (c ) but many woodworkers seek these for their shops. I did a full restoration on this machine and while doing a shop layout in Sketchup I needed a model of it. I was able to download models of my other machines so here's the Makita to add to my library. I added a base to this model as the machine is too low to sit on the floor. The base is completely detailed as I built it. The base is a complete Makita 2030 Planer Jointer Specs set of working drawings. I am new to this forum and I am probably bringing up an old subject but I am trying to find a chain tensioner (Part Number ) for a Makita that I just picked up. It appears to be obsolete everywhere I look so I am trying to find anyone that has one that they are parting out or that I can get the measurement from so I can build the tensioner myself.
