Krazy Glue, Super Glue and other brand name glues have been around for many years now and I use most of them because they all have the same basic formula and all perform with the same high degree of "attachment". All of these glues are from the Cyanoacrylate family and commonly called "CA" glues for short. They come in a variety of consistencies from very thin and watery, all the way to a thick gel that can be applied to vertical surfaces where it won't run. Watch it on Youtube: -   One common use of these glues for woodturners is to use the glue as a finish on their woodturning project. Pen turners use CA glues to get a hard wearing, high gloss finish on their pens while in many cases also hardening the surface wood of some softer species of woods. Cyanoacrylate glue, or CA for short, is commonly known by trade names such as Super Glue and Krazy Glue. It is an extremely strong and fast-setting adhesive available in three viscosities: thin, medium, and thick. Thinner glues have faster set times, while thicker versions have better gap-filling abilities. Once cured, CA is hard, crystal clear and waterproof but can be reversed with a special solvent or acetone. Though the solvent specifically for CA is expensive, it has the advantages of being faster acting and safer.  I found that the finishes marketed towards woodturners work quickly to build a gloss finish but aren’t as durable as I’d like. Hard, clear, waterproof even reversible with the right solvent. Those are four of the most important properties of a finish. This "rubberized" adhesive remains somewhat flexible after curing and is great for bonding different materials together.
